The Orange County Fair is a five-day long event that brings thousands of people to Costa Mesa every year. It dates from 1890 and was originally comprised mainly of livestock shows and horse races. The State of California became involved after the end of World War II and it formed what was called the “32nd District Agricultural Association” to run the fair.
